Taherfish Ltd. was born in 2024 from a family tradition rooted in the Mediterranean way of eating, where seafood is not just food, but part of daily life. Growing up, canned tuna was always on our table: simple, nourishing, and trusted for its clean taste and high protein value.
That personal connection inspired us to create a tuna product we would proudly eat ourselves. We traveled, tasted, tested, and compared products across multiple manufacturers, working side by side with producers to fine-tune every element until the flavor, texture, and quality met our expectations.
Being a small company allows us to stay close to our product and our values. We remain selective, involved in every step, and focused on delivering what truly matters: exceptional quality, lasting freshness, and customer trust.

This certificate reflects our ongoing promise to preserve biodiversity and support healthy fishing communities today and for generations to come.
Statement on Sourcing of
Endangered or Threatened Species
We do not and will not source any species listed as Endangered, Critically Endangered or Vulnerable on the IUCN Red List of Threatened Species. We do not and will not source tuna from overfished stocks or stocks undergoing overfishing as officially described by the Western and Central Pacific Fisheries Commission or other science reports
Taherfish will always provide pure sustainably sourced seafood and help to protect purity in our oceans, lakes, and rivers. Providing seafood from well-managed fisheries using sustainable fishing methods is essential to promoting a healthy ecosystem and to conserve populations for the future
Our sustainability policy focuses on protecting the entire marine ecosystem, and we believe sustainable use requires supporting conservation while reducing our environmental impact. We have chosen our catch methods very carefully. We are proud to partner with the Marine Stewardship Council(MSC) and are committed to sourcing all of our tuna and seafood products from MSC certified fisheries!
From day one, our products will bear the blue MSC-ecolabel, ensuring the highest levels of sustainable and fully traceable product for you.
